Over the weekend, I watched the series about the Menendez brothers on Netflix, and it was absolutely gripping!🤯 I had never heard this story before, and I’m still processing it all. Recently, Kim Kardashian wrote an in-depth article on the case for NBC, which I, of course, read. It turned out to be such a dark and intense story🙁 There’s talk of new evidence coming to light, and it seems there might be another trial. I believe that a new trial could shed light on many unanswered questions, and perhaps we’ll see a fairer outcome❤️‍🩹 I often wonder how these processes unfold in today’s world. Have u ever thought about it?🐰 What triggers these waves? It’s intriguing how a series and a documentary can release simultaneously, a public campaign emerges, and suddenly new statements and evidence appear. How coordinated is all of this? The end of summer is truly breathtaking! For the past couple of days, I’ve been in an autumn-like melancholic mood, but I actually love it!🌸💕 Yesterday, I went down the rabbit hole of the whole Sean Combs case, and I’m truly shocked by the severity of the accusations and the number of victims!😭 120 people! It's beyond my comprehension!🤯 I’m relieved that none of my favorite artists are involved in those horrible things that happened at his house. In fact, my favorites are the ones who always spoke the truth about P. Diddy and avoided those “parties”!🫡 Over the years of being in the public eye, I’ve received messages from many well-known people with seemingly harmless offers, but I’m well aware of what lies behind the scenes of the entertainment world, and I’ve never wanted to be a part of it. This particular case only highlights that I made the absolutely right choice!😎 I just hope that after all these high-profile cases — Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Sean Combs — young women and men will be more cautious when dealing with key figures in the American cultural and political elite. Honor and dignity are far more valuable than the hollow promises of money and fame from power-crazed maniacs!🥲 And I also hope that Mr. Tony Buzbee, the Texas attorney, will take this case to the end and hold all those responsible accountable. As he mentioned at the press conference, they have a very long list of names. Told u, I’m in a melancholic mood! It seems like Netflix has signed a major deal with her! 🥰 The series is called Perfect Couple, a classic detective story, or at least that’s the vibe I got from the first episode!💕 The start was promising, but lately, I’ve been bothered by how so many shows focus on the lives of ultra-wealthy people. It’s often hard to truly empathize with them!🥲 You know, when I see such central characters, it feels like we’re back in the 19th century, where the “heroes of literature” could only come from super-privileged classes😭 Maybe this is one of the manifestations of neo-feudalism in popular culture!🤔 I think these thoughts were inspired by my recent deep dive into the horribly unjust caste system in India, which sadly still exists and seems to be worsening😭 Do u know of any other places in the world where society has such rigid hierarchical structures? Every minute, a certain amount of money is added to each participant’s account; the higher the floor, the higher the amount!💕 The participants must entertain the viewers to extend the game time, allowing all players to earn more money!🤯 I won't reveal all the details (to avoid spoilers), but I will say that the entire game is an allegory for the capitalist leviathan that is consuming us right now!😭🌸 I haven’t been this deeply affected by such revealing works in a long time, but the creators here managed to convey all the absurd brutality of the reality that surrounded us after the 2008 crisis with remarkable precision!🥲 The second work is a documentary by Lauren Greenfield called Generation Wealth. The film itself is good, but it feels somewhat rushed! It’s as if the director couldn’t fit all her ideas about the problems of modern capitalism into such a short runtime!🦄 But together, these two works make a strong impression!💔 I recommend watching the series first, followed by the documentary!
